DJ & PRODUCER
After winning a remix competition with Vancouver based SKIO Music, Ryzy went on to produce the most popular stem project on their platform.
Toward the end of 2017, he entered another production competition with Ibiza Club News after being prompted by a friend. Ryzy was chosen from thousands of applicants to feature in their Breakthrough Programme and was soon named one of Ibiza's biggest up and comers. He was featured in his regional newspaper, on STV news and selected for management by a Sony Music A&R scout.
He released tracks on labels such as Strange Fruits, Future House Cloud and was established as one of 5 EDM acts breaking through.
Ryzy went on to perform DJ sets internationally at gigs and festivals from London to Ibiza, supporting the likes of Rudimental, Sigala and Armada's Felon. He regularly held weekly number 1 shows with Mixcloud and as a result he was named a Mixcloud Rising Star of 2018 (Top 10). This was followed by support from Madison Mars, Lucas & Steve, Steve Void and Sam Feldt.
Ryzy held a 1 year residency at ATIK Nightclub in Aberdeen, Scotland with Vanity Fridays, before returning to the band scene after re-building his home studio mid-2020.
